Nordstrom Fulfillment Center, Cedar Rapids
This expansion project was pre-cast and structural steel construction on approximately 10.8 acres. The expansion provides additional material handling space, including a 73-foot high bay and a high-tech, automated rack and conveying system to move merchandise. This project required a 100F super-flat floor. In addition to the expansion, the scope of work included doubling the size of employee locker rooms, remodeling the cafeteria and call center and providing more parking.
