Eastern Iowa Airport, Cedar Rapids
This project created a new regional airport terminal. The building is a multi-level steel frame with a porcelainized steel exterior wall system for low maintenance. Four gates were included for three major airlines and two ground level gates for commuter airlines. The project required the coordination of the terminal with separate air- and land-side contractors to maintain the airport’s continual operation.
